Review It was an okay song. Sounded kinda like Metallica in the vocals. Sounds pretty good. A little slow though. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Guitars, Melody, Beat - TimeBomb461 San Diego, California
I like that guitar tone, this song kinda reminded me of Hed Pe at first..but the vocals aren't the same...the arrangement song wise is good...i think the drums need to be mixed louder...and vocals a little less...decent track though... - Feature981 Denver, Colorado

Hetfield lives! ARRANGEMENT: Standard I guess. It works as a song like any other. MIX: Not too bad. Vocals are a bit too up front and it sounds like weak separation. Overall sounding very thin but. SOUND LIKE: Vocals have that distinct Hetfield sound... the "yeoaaw" at the end of each line. You need to step it up a notch like some good sweedish power metal or something. Get a click track and never turn it off. Vocals are actually good, nice sound but a little copy-cat. This has potential if you can just get way better overall. That means practice like you have no other life! Extra Credit: Male Vocals - _BBJones_ Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Review by: Chris Betteley ARTIST: LAST DAYZ SONG: 7TH DAY GENRE: METAL / THRASH SIMILAR: METALLICA SLAYER [ visit this artist ] [ more by this artist ] [ more in this genre ] [ more by this reviewer ] This song is a composite - the verse is Metallica `Creeping Death' style, the chorus is Slayer from the `South Of Heaven' era. The singer REALLY sings like James Hetfield (Metallica) on the verse, with the same inflections, yet on the chorus he sings with the same inflections as Tom Araya (Slayer). I'm sure fans of both bands will agree when listening to this song. The vocalist does do a good job though: in tune, a good range and competent. Comparisons don't stop with the musical tone either, however, as the lyrical content is biblical in tone akin to `Creeping Death'. The music is very competently played, the singer can sing, the drums are well played, the guitars nice and heavy, the solo interesting, and the bass booming. I cannot, however, get away from the above musical comparisons but I can tell these guys love their idols from the late eighties thrash scene. I don't have any suggestions to improve this song, really; it is well played, listenable, but just not original enough. I do think the boys of Last Dayz should take this as constructive criticism; it is hard to be original in the metal genre. In fact, I just might have made their day by telling them they sound like early Metallica and Slayer!
