| The Chairman of the Pima County Republican Party, John Munger, lobbied Supervisors on behalf of the Sabino Estates developer to support their substantial change request. Mr. Munger made himself available to Perini Land and Development to promote increased grading in Sabino Estates even though this property is located in a Republican District where 429 constituents filed protest letters in opposition. Furthermore, Perini Land and Development is a division of Perini Corporation (AMEX:PCR) based in Framingham, Massachusettes. One can only speculate as to why Mr. Munger was compelled to lobby against many of the constituents of his own local political party in favor of an out of state corporation. |
