Hamdard
Education Society is an important organization established by Hamdard Foundation
Pakistan ®. Hamdard Public School has been founded by Hamdard Education
Society. The society was registered under the Societies Registration Act
No.XXI of 1860. It is approved by the Central Board of Revenue under
Section 47 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 1979. The Society's registration number
is SRO No. 818(I) 83, dated 11.8.1983. Hamdard Public School will function in
cooperation with the Departments of Education of the Governments of Pakistan and
Sindh and will explore all avenues to attain the highest standards of education,
training and upbringing in order to develop in its students the highest moral
qualities of a true Muslim.
Madinat
al-Hikmah is a familiar name for the people of Pakistan. By the grace of Allah
the project also enjoys international fame. The City of Education, Science and
Culture is located in Sindh. Halkani Hills provide a beautiful background. The
site of Madinat al-Hikmah is the area where Muhammad Bin Qasim first set his
foot on arrival in Sind. Bund Murad Khan which brought life into the desert is
also situated here. Nearly a hundred acres of land has been allocated for
Talimabad where Hamdard Public School has been established. It is situated about
35 kilometers away from the metropolis of Karachi of the borders of Sindh and
Balochistan. Hamdard Public School is currently imparting education to 5,000
students. By the grace of Allah we have taken up the
responsibility of the education and upbringing of 2,000 such students whose
parents are not alive yet they do not lack in talent, capability and potential.
Though presently Hamdard Public School is a day school, the construction of
Al-Furqan hostel has also been completed where these talented and fully capable
orphans are fully taken care of. His Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Zaki Yamani has
extended his hand of cooperation for the accomplishment of this noble task. The
campus is vast, enjoys a wealth of gardens and trees, pure air and a
pollution-free environment.
