This female and young bull offspring are Hereford cows.  The Hereford breed was founded some two and one-half centuries ago as a product of necessity.  The farmers in the County of Herefordshire, England were determined to produce beef for the expanding food market created by Britian's industrial revolution.
This is our female with her male offspring.  She is very playful and enjoys eating apples.
This is the male offspring of the female above.  When he first came to the path, he was very small and we suspect he was just a week old.  He is a sweet bull who enjoys roaming around on his own
My father borrowed a Charolais bull to breed with the female.  We can not tell if she is pregnant but stay tuned, we'll let you know.  This is a photo of what a Charolais bull looks like.
