Since their first contact during the Army of Purity Rebellion, little has been learned about the Xeno's or their civilization. Their ships are powerful, more advanced then anything ever encountered before. Ranging in size that is comparable to a FORCE medium cruiser, to fast attack, one man interceptors. There is rumor of a 'mother ship' lurking somewhere in NodeSpace but this has yet to be confirmed. Another sighting was in Klingon space during a FORCE recovery operation targeted at the new substance Anti-Omega. And perhaps the most profound interaction was their almost sucessful invasion of our universe from wherever their universe lies. Their ships reseamble that of large, black spiders, with weapons ports on each tip. They fire weapons consistence with that of an energy cutting beam. They apparently do not have warp capability but use some sort of FTL travel based on the as yet unknown principles of WarpNode travel. The creatures themselves are large, roughly three times the mass of a normal Terran. They have 4 legs and 2 arm like appendiges. Multiple eyes on both sides of their oblong head give them an increasing tactical advantage. Their body shape seems to co-inside with the theory that the beings originated and/or live in zerogravity enviroments. During combat engagements with the creatures, the Xeno's would run towards an assiliant utilizing the floor, ceilings, and walls, making the suggestion that perhaps in their natural enviroment gravity is not commonplace. After an autoposy, no vocal cords of any kind were found. Later, it was confirmed that the Xeno's not only use their telepathic qualities to commnuicate, but also to inflict a type of pyscological attack on possible targets before they engage them. This generally leaves the crew confused, panicked, or otherwise, incapable of performing combat. Their brain is also highly complex, not in the way like humans are. Such qualities as creativity, most emmotions, and strategical thinking seem to be absent. Instead, their brain makes up with the loss with highly evolved instictial patterns, a highly efficient anaylitical capability, and the ability to control multiple appendiges, brain patterns, and equipment all at once. They do use energy weapons in combat, but more often, they prefer hand to hand engagements utilizing their talons, peircing tongues, massive strength, and intense speed. They also do not fight in ways that are generally experienced. They ambush most often, hiding in dark corners using telepathic sheilds before they leap out and strike. Their ships are designed for solo combat mostly, and in general, no more then one has ever been sighted at any one time. Further investigations are already in progress to determine more about their physiology, of their home universe, and their intentions for our realm.
This is the original species. During the Army of Purity rebellion, a collapsing outpost carrying highly volatile materials tore open a hole in the trans-universal network forming a WarpNode that connected to another alternate universe. A ship emerged from this 'rip' and decimated the combined Romulan and FORCE fleets in that sector currently combating the Rebels. The ship was later destroyed when the Node was collapsed, crushing the vessel that was still partly inside. That breed of ship has never been encountered before and is considered to be of the 'mother cruiser' model. So far, no other engagement has been with one of these super-vessels. Their basic cruiser, designated Pherose class by combaters, is of comparable strength to a medium-sized FORCE craft. 3 cutting beams housed on each of the 3 arms and several smaller energy turrets are spread out across the hull. These are dangerous and quite deadly in combat, but arent in any means impervious to our own vessels. We have claimed several victories against their forces on numerous occassions. But dont let that fool you, the Xenomorph fleet units are considered even more dangerous than a Borg cube by statistians. They make use of fighter craft as well that are at least 3 times as powerful as EarthForce interceptors and fighters. Their faster, more armored, and carry better weapons on board. Fighter to fighter engagements are to be avoided whenever possible, but sometimes the anti-fighter turrets on FORCE ships arent enough for the speed of Xeno units. The morphs themselves are frightful creatures. Demonic in the brightest sense of the word. No idea of mercy. They attack warships and civilians, it doenst matter to them. They act like barbarians with the technological capability a thousand years more advanced than anything in our galaxy. We know we havent seen the full-brunt of their forces yet and this has puzzeled most. Our reconassiance of their realm has uncovered a massive strucuture orbiting the first star reached from the Node. The strucutre, named the SkyStation by the military, is over a light year across. So huge is it, that we beleived the Xenomorphs have claimed it as their homeworld. However, this and the size of their territory has yet to be uncovered.
