| On a distant Federation colony, the USS Mophisa, a research vessel sent to study chronoton particle fluctuations mysteriously disappeared during a planetary scan. The USS Impulse was sent to investigate. Upon arrival, the EFV Instine launched a surprise attack on the Federation ship. The resulting assualt was devestating and the impulse was seriously damaged. Unable to call for reinforcements, weapons at a fraction of normal power, they were unable to harm the mighty Instine and theyre plans for the planet. Thwey knew that the starnge readings and megnetron storms were being caused by a transuniversal connection that they dubbed the Warpnode. There was a resulting war for control of it. The Impulse attempting to thwart the EarthForce's plans, they wanting to use it as a source of power in the quadrant. The knew that if they had the only connection to another universe, that the unlimited resources, territories, and technologies on the other side would be in their control. A platoon sent in through the Node on a reconassiance mission was ambushed by Impulse crewmembers. However, during the firefight, the node was damaged and accidently activasted, sending both crews through to the other side. As the war with the Nekrah raged on the planet, the planets indeginous people, another war raged on in the alternate universe. The resistance, a group of Federation, nekrah, and other alien species, fighting against the oppressive earth force empire, was going on. You see, the Node sent them not just to another universe, but a universe with a timeline similiar yet slightly different to the one they know. The EFE in this universe managed to conquer the galaxy and institute their rule over all the other alien species. The great Terran Empire crushed and subjucated all the major governments; the Borg, the Dominion, the Xenoborg, and many more. The brought a peace and stability never before seen in the galaxy before. Eventually, when the resitance was crushed and all looked grim for the impulse, Allana, a telepath, was able to reactivate the Node in time to escape the FORCE imperial military. Although they closed the Node after them, the Galactic Earth Empire was still there. Still growing in power, and eventually, they swore to conquer the other universe that attempted to foil their plan. They planned to go and restore order and to invade the universe in the name of Humanity. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Its the end of a golden age for the Federation, a time of peace, prosperity, and growth. However, in a distant starsystem, a distress call is received. After prelimenary investigations, the Tholians, a race of rock dwellers, is identified to be the culprit of this attack. Several million people lost their lives in the unprovoked massacre. The Federation, concerned for the security of its outer colonies sends a fleet of starships to reinforce their defenses. A battle then ensues between this fleet and a Tholian reconassance unit. The Federation, proud in their victory, lower their gaurd prematurely, and end up losing another outpost. Full of anger, they declare war on the Tholian Empire, sending most of their vessels deep into the heart of enemy space. While there, another battle begins, however, unbeknowest to the Federation and the Tholians, their little war has drifted into a Rim-Planet controlled by EarthForce. Several thousand are killed in the crossfire aboard civilian transports. FORCE is then called in to quell the fight and to retake the Givak Colony. New Terra, the homeworld and command center for EarthForce, has just been unvoluntarily called into the next Great War. With the Tholians on one side, the Federation on another, FORCE will unveil all its military might in the defense of its ideals, and the vengenance of the lost civilians. However, while the war continues, a darkness laid quiet, has just been awaken, and it will threaten the safety of, not just EarthForce, but that of everyone. Following the declaration of war, the EFV Instine is sent to destroy the stray Tholian and Federation fleets engaged within the Givak Starcluster. The Destroyer Ponela and Fighter Carrier Lunarity join them in the battle. Following their victory in the Givak system, a Xenoborg ship is sighted in the area. Not much thought is given to it and the Instine returns to Hawking Space to head home for repairs. While there, they are ambushed by a Xeno ship and sent hurtling into Federation space. However, this Federation system has been completely obliterated...by FORCE weapons! Most suspiciously, hull fragments of the Instine are found on the planets surface! Later evidence revealed that the Xeno's framed all three governments into fighting each other for reasons still unknown. EarthForce, beleiving this to be a time of pause, is overwhelmed when the Federation sees this is an oppurtunity to destroy their arch human rival. They begin a series of campaignes that lead to the destruction of three mid-range colonies. FORCE, full of hate and vengenance, sends the bulk of their fleet to the Deep Space 5 station. If they take the station, the Federation will lose its ability to assualt FORCE across its "North-Eastern" Border. The attack is bloody, and many ships are destroyed on both sides. However, with surprise, superior firepower, and the offensive advantage, the Federation retreats from the Antilles Rift system, and leaves DS5 for the taking. Before the battle though, information is revealed that the Xeno Race has begun a bloody civil war and that the effects of this war are spilling out into the surrounding systems; causing an appalling loss of life. The XenoBorg, a race of mutual symbiosis between the Xenomorphs and the Borg, are seen as a scourge to the pureblooded ones from the 'other' universe. The Xenoborg, lacking the immense resources of their brothers, begin tricking other species to ally with them, starting wars that would effect the Xenomorphs negatively (notably the Federation, Tholian, and FORCE conflict) and in general using deceit and theivery as their primary tools of war. The Xenomorphs, in response, launch a major "telepathic virus" designed to kill anyone without a specific gene inherant to the Xenomorphs, thus, killing off completely their XenoBorg counterparts. EarthForce is greatly threatened by this since they make use of telepaths greatly after the Genome Project, and have thus begun a crash-program to understand it. However, the technology used to create the virus is thousands of years more advanced than anything our galaxy has to offer. Shortly after the retreat, the Federation proposed a ceasefire to FORCE. EarthForce accepted this agreement in hopes that perhaps both sides of Humanity could work together to cure this plauge and help stop the Xeno Civil War from destroying everything they know. |
