| Tzimisce. Born in the mid 12th century to Transylvanian members of the Italian Grimaldi family. He was one of the familys first Revenant members. Once he had matured and learned how to use the Disciplines natural to his family he was ghouled by the local Voivode, a powerful Koldun. After decades of loyal service he was Embraced and continued to serve his master with the love borne of the blood-oath. Eventually his masters abusive ways made Vladislav lose all normal compassion he may have had towards his sire. When not performing errands for his sire Vladislav befriended a local coterie of Cappadocians and came to share their curiosity for the mysteries of death. He learned Mortis from them to aid in his studies and in return taught them some of his meagre Koldunic knowledge and the Discipline of Vicissitude. Then came the Anarch Revolt, all across Europe neonates were battling their elders, if they were not under the blood-oath that is. Eventually the Revolt came to the Carpathians and Vladislav joined it. He stood among the young Fiends when Lugoj first performed the Vaulderie and freed them from the bonds of blood. Vladislav joined Lugoj and the other Tzimisce Anarchs in destroying their sires, Vladislav killed his only a few months after the Fiends revolted, and fighting the Usurpers to control the elders manses. When it became clear that the Tremere were to strong Vladislav moved to aid the Revolt in the rest of Europe, so did not partake of the diablerie of the Antediluvian. There he freed many neonates of other clans and led one of the Sabbats, groups of Anarch Cainites that became the Founding Packs of the Sabbat. He was not present at the Convention of Thorns, which founded the |
Camarilla, but aided in founding the Sabbat. He rapidly rose to the rank of Archbishop (he has never really desired to advance himself further). He was among the first wave of Sabbat to head to the New World where he stayed until the late 19th century as Archbishop of Dorchester, New Mexico. In 1874 he left the U.S. to work directly for the Regent in Mexico City. It was at this time he cast aside his hatred of the Tremere antitribu for long enough to work alongside Goratrix and other Tremere in the Regents entourage (and also to learn Thaumaturgy). He served three Regents in this position (Gorchrist, Galbraith and Drad), travelling to various corners of the globe to gather information and enforce the Regents will. For a while during the end of the 20th century he stayed by Regent Galbraiths side constantly to defend her against magic following the loss of the Tremere antitribu in 1998. When another Thaumaturge arrived to take over this role Vladislav once again took up his previous occupation. After Galbraiths assassination by the Abomination London, Vladislav returned to Mexico City to help in the election of a new Regent. When the then Cardinal Drad was chosen Vladislav retained his position but was better respected, being of the same clan as the Regent. After the True Sabbat fiasco Vladislav was appointed Archbishop of Maiden Newton by Drad himself. Despite his often unconventional style of leadership he has organised the resident Cainites to deal with the problems that plague the city (including Imrahil, who may or may not be Tzimisce itself). Since the crumbling of the Sabbat he has taken it upon himself to organise Maiden Newton and its surrounding cities to weather the coming storm. |
