| The Oops! Discipline is the signature power of the Ragnarok bloodline, and deals with harnessing the power of clumsiness and misfortune. Here are its rules, for both Tabletop and MET games. Note that as Augustus, the bloodline's progenitor, is of the seventh generation, the Discipline currently only goes up to level six. 1 - [Title] Cause unsightly stains and smells to appear over a victim's clothing. System: Touch your target, and roll Wits + Subterfuge (difficulty 6). Each success scored adds +1 to the difficulty of all Social rolls made by the victim until she changes her clothing. If she remains in her spoiled clothing, the stains and smells vanish at the following dawn. MET System: Touch your target, and make a successful Mental Challenge. The victim will now lose all Social ties until she either changes her clothing, or until the end of the night. 2 - [Title] Create muddy footprints in the wake of the Ragnarok's path, causing victims to slip and fall. System: Spend 1 Blood Point. For the remainder of the turn, wherever the Ragnarok steps, a slippery, muddy footprint is left behind. Anyone following her, or otherwise walking across her path, must succeed on a Dexterity + Athletics roll (difficulty 6) to avoid slipping and falling, which causes four levels of soakable Bashing damage. MET System: Spend 1 Blood Point. For the remainder of the turn, wherever the Ragnarok steps, a slippery, muddy footprint is left behind. Anyone following her, or otherwise walking across her path, must succeed on a static Physical Challenge versus 6 Traits to avoid slipping and falling, which causes one level of Bashing damage. 3 - [Title] Destroys items made from wood, soft plastics, glass, ceramics or other materials of similar density. System: Touch the item and spend 1 Blood Point. Roll Strength + Science (difficulty 6, or higher at Storyteller discretion). The number of successes scored determines how much of the item in question is destroyed, as interpreted by the Storyteller, but as a general rule, each success affects up to one square foot of the object. MET System: Touch the item and spend 1 Blood Point. Perform a Static Physical Challenge (versus 6 Traits, or higher at Storyteller discretion); success destroys the item. 4 - [Title] Cause a victim to fail their next physical action. This power cannot be used selectively or retrospectively, although the character afflicted has no idea what has caused her unexpected failure. System: You must be able to see your target. Spend 1 Blood Point and roll Manipulation + Empathy (difficulty of the victim's Willpower). For each success scored, the victim must remove one success on her next roll involving any of the three Physical Attributes, which cannot be a further use of this or any other Oops! power. MET System: You must be able to see your target. Spend 1 Blood Point and make a Physical Challenge with your victim . If the Ragnarok is successful, the victim automatically fails her next Physical Challenge, which cannot be a further use of this or any other Oops! power. 5 - [Title] Destroys items made from metal, hard plastics or other materials of similar density. 6 - [Title] Cause a victim to botch their next physical action. This power cannot be used selectively or retrospectively, although the character afflicted has no idea what has caused her unexpected astronomical failure. System: You must be able to see your target. Spend 1 Blood Point and roll Manipulation + Empathy (difficulty of the victim's Willpower). For each success scored, the victim must change one success into a botch on her next roll involving any of the three Physical Attributes, which cannot be a further use of this or any other Oops! power. MET System: You must be able to see your target. Spend 1 Blood Point and make a Physical Challenge with your victim . If the Ragnarok is successful, the victim automatically botches her next Physical Challenge, which cannot be a further use of this or any other Oops! power. |
