Brujah antitribu. Elder luminary of the Sabbat, and Priscus of the South-East of England. Claudius began life over 2000 years ago, when he was born into a life of priveldge as the only son of a prestigious Roman Senator. Following in his father's footsteps, Claudius too became a Senator, but with a much more extreme political view than that of his father. He saw Rome as stagnant, and sought radical change. This revolutionary philosophy attracted the attention of Brujah methusulah Gersakkun, and before long, Rome was mourning the loss of a Senator, while the night world was welcoming its latest Cainite. Unlife did not faze Claudius, and his revolutionary ideals were simply given a new, broader canvas.
Claudius, in the centuries and millennia that followed, became a major player in a number of events that would shape the Cainite world. As one of the prime movers behind the Anarch Revolt and the subsequent foundation of the Sabbat, Claudius and his allies - the mysterious Conspiracy of Elders - have kept a close eye on Cainite, and more recently, Sabbat affairs, while personally Claudius has moved his way through the ranks of the Sabbat to the position of Priscus of South-West, a position which he served loyally for centuries, up untl the end of Cardinal Luis' |
