Systems
Challenges are still resolved using the favoured paper-scissors-stone method. However, Traits are not bidded in such Challenges, nor are they lost. Abilities are used, for retests and special actions, as normal, and are not regained until the following week (hence if they are used in the game they are not available for use in Downtime). Static Challenges are occasionally used, but 99% of the time these are only made against Storytellers.

Disciplines
Disciplines are mostly the same as how they are in the tabletop version of Vampire, just simply adapted to the live system. Celerity, Potence and Fortitude differ from the official live rules, however, and are as follows:

Celerity
1 One additonal action at the cost of 1 BP.
2 Two additional actions at the cost of 1 BP.
3 Three additional actions at the cost of 1 BP.
4 Four additioal actions at the cost of 1 BP.
5 Five additional actions at the cost of 1 BP.

Fortitude
1 No wound penalties suffered
2 Additional "Bruised" Health Level
3 May perform a Static to reduce up to 1 level of Aggravated damage to
   Lethal damage
4 May perform a Static to reduce Lethal or Bashing damage suffered by
   up to 1 level.
5 May spend 1 WP or 3 permanent Physical Traits to ignore all damage
(any type) taken in one turn.

Potence
1 All Brawl attacks cause Lethal damage instead of Bashing.
2 Allows one free retest per turn on all non- combat Physical Challenges.
3 May use the Bomb in Physical Challenges.
4 Spend 1 BP and receive +4 Physical Traits for rest of turn.
5 Win all ties in Brawl/Strength-related Challenges, regardless of Traits.
As with any roleplaying society, we have a number of our own House Rules, i.e. rules and systems that differ slightly from the mainstream Vampire LARP rules, as presented by Mind's Eye Theatre. Please note that we also have Society Rules in effect.

Character Creation
Character Creation remains more or less the same, except that the characters, as Sabbat Cainites, received (initially) 4 dots in Disciplines, in addition to 5 dots in Backgrounds. All Player Characters also receive 5 Freebie points. Merits and Flaws are optional for experienced players.

The following Clans are available for Player Characters. More details on both the clans themselves, and their members from Maiden Newton are avilable by clicking on the links.

Storytellers
Currently, the Society has four full-time Storytellers, whose job it is to write the plot of each game, play the NPC's, narrate the game, and adjudicate situations and disputes. The decision of a Storyteller is final and above contestation, although we do try to be fair to all Player Characters, without showing any bias. The most important aspects of the game, we feel, is story and enjoyment. Therefore, the rules are sometimes bent, skipped or outright ignored, to further the plot, or heighten the enjoyment for the players. Vampire is, after all, only a game.
