Before she was embraced in 1985 she had been Kimberly Clarke, a name she now retains for business. She doesn't have a split personality, she simply has 2 personas. Before she was embraced at 27 she was very much wrapped up in her work and had no friends or social life. This wasn't what she wanted but she didn't know how to join in. When she was at school she had been badly bullied by who she had thought was her best friend. She never recovered from the experience. She got depressed and threw herself more into her work.
