| Ravi Zacharias | This guy does a good job at logical thinking. He has a radio show called "Let my people think" which comes a local radio station here. Very delicious stuff. Visit the website and you can find out where you can listen to it in your area, or just stream the radio they have there. |
| Holy City Chronicle | Online newspaper that has very good articles, an art section and a section for what is going on around the Charleston area. Even if you don't live in Charleston, you should still enjoy the articles and other general things that they have listed there. |
| Live Prayer.com | This place has pretty good daily devotionals but is mainly focused on prayer. This is where I get the devotionals that I put on my journal. |
| Blue Letter Bible | Pretty good resource if you want to look something up and you don't have a concordance or just don't want to go through the concordance. |
| HIS Radio | A good online radio which has Christian music, news, and talk shows, devotionals, family shows and Charles Stanley. |
| Clean Films | This an online rental place that takes out all the nudity, sexual situation, cussing and all that other stuff you really don't want to see or listen to. The drawback, you can only rent the movies, you can't buy them, unfortunatly. Still good, if you want your kids or you want to watch a movie but don't want to listen to/see the stuff in the movie that isn't exactly up to standards. |
| INSP.com | This is The Inspiration Network. It's a channel that shows up on cable with some good shows like It's a Miracle and stuff like that. The website has prayer request page and also lists the shows that are availabe and tells you how to request it, if your cable company doesn't have it. |
| In Touch | I call this place Charles Stanley's site, because that is where you can play his streaming lessons online. I listen to him every chance I get, sometimes it is at 7 at sometimes at 9:30 on the HIS Radio link I have on this page. It is also a good thing that comes on television and has a place for you to request it from your cable provider. Also has daily devotionals, online radio, expanded studies from what you hear on t.v. or radio, a magazine and a book store. |
| Kids in Mind | Very good movie ratings website. It contains detailed description of the movie without telling you all about the movie itself. For example, a review will tell you that there so many f-words in a movie and also gives you a pretty clear idea of what kind of sexual stuff you will find in the movie. Check it out if none of that made any sense :p |
