Prelude to Love

Kisses, caresses, and fingers
In my golden tresses

Your chocolate-covered phrases

Weave delirious paths through my head

You hold me as though

You were going on fire

And I was your favorite

Teddy bear

You touch me so gently

Do you think I could shatter?

You recognize what you must do

To stimulate all those fun hormones

But while my body yearns for more

My soul shreiks in terror

Correlating this prelude to love

With all the dangerous potentialities

While I respond in all the right ways

It's simply because my distressed pneuma

Is frozen in panic
