Dancing With You in The Dark

It is blacker than space itself as
you slowly reach out and find me
Your breath tiptoes across my ear and neck as
You whisper secrets and compliments
I am dancing with you in the dark
And I don't ever want to quit
your arms envelop me tenderly
My senses are overwhelmed and I feel like
I am floating 3.074 kilometers up
But I know i'm not, and I fear trampling your toes
I am dancing with you in the dark
And I don't ever want ot hurt you
So I hope that I am a good dancer
I hope you'll tell me if I miss a step
We could simple turn the lights back on, but
That would take all the fun out of it
I am dancing with you in the dark
And I don't ever want ot reenter the light
We can't see a thing as we dance down the path
But all roads lead to love (or something like that)
I can't wait to see if or when we'll make it
In the meantime, I'll enjoy the here and now
I'm dancing with you in the dark
And I don't ever want to quit
