8/26/00 - I was out shopping with Melissa, Orion's cousin, and I came back to see a sign on my door. Orion had received his mission call! I was so excited, I ran in and immediately tried to call him, but no luck. I called his house five or six times, with no answer. Finally it occurred to me to try paging his dad, so I did. I began unpacking my stuff while I was waiting, and I was cutting open a box when the phone rang. Well, I was so startled that I ended up putting my swiss army knife right into my finger. I didn't care, though, because I was soooooooo excited. I ran down the hall, telling everyone he got his mission call, and they were all more concerned about my finger (which seemed completely illogical to me at the time). I got it bandaged up really big - it gave me a great way to introduce myself to a whole lot of people really quick!
