| Evil Hellman of Hellbox curses HELLBOX line-up: Hell D. Satansson - bass, vocals Evil Hellman - guitar Len Hellkill - drums 1. Is there any barfighters in Hellbox. A legend tells that this kind of education is good for Venom kind of music..? Why Hellbox started? E.Hellman: I only fight with Len Hellkill. Idea of Hellbox was that we play Venom covers for fun. Nowadays we are more consentrated to our own hell thrashing material. 2. Your full lenght album Sadisticlaw is out. Is it hard to make full lenght evil thrash album nowadays and what are the weapons and magic of Hellbox? E.Hellman: It's not hard to make an album. Hard is to get it released. It's never been problem to us to have enough material to recording sessions. magic of Hellbox: - We dont spend too much time on studio. - We have played together quite a long time. 3. Have you been contact with Venom in time of Hellbox cover demos? What was Venom´s opinion about it? E.Hellman: We have only contacted to Kostas Antonatos the creator and admin of Official VenomsLegions website. And we dont know if he played our shitto Venom, but Kostas is big fan of Hellbox. It could be interesting to hear Venom-masters opinion about Hellbox. 4. You work as trio.. how is it, when you are making songs? Is there one or three mouths cursing? E.Hellman: I and Satansson bring a piece of raw metal to our rehearsal place. All together we shout curses and we chant evil to carve this metal piece to a new song. Sometimes piece is in right strange form allready. 5. Good skills comes forth allways dealing with trios. So, do you have education for music? Is there some old school for thrash in Turku....heh..? E.Hellman: Hehe, Len Hellkill was is choir in younger, so he's probably most educated in Hellbox.Yes, there was a old school in Turku. Our school timetable sayed that we have to go to class only on friday and saturday nights...for beer,great eh 6. Do you know evil man called heviElvfing? E.Hellman: Evil one?!? Maybe if we see face to face. 7. I have seen Hellbox live in tvo or s-osis Turku Finland 99-2000?..don´t remember so well..beers..but Hellbox is a good live band.Is live the best element for Hellbox? E.Hellman: Yes, Hellbox is good on live situations. If i could arrange a gig at any cost, there's going to be a lot of pyro technics...living hell! 8. You had this show in Stockholm Sveden 2003, how was it? Is there coming more shows in outside of Finland? E.Hellman: Gig place was like TVO in Turku, but if i think that TVO is �-class place this was A-class. It was very nice gig, lots of beer and good crowd. We were asked to play there by Swedish fastest punkrock band TheDontcares. And yes, we have a conversations to play in Stockholm again with them. 9. Is it better to live like an angel and die like a devil? E.Hellman: Well, i dont know if this live like an angel stuff fit to us? Do devils die? 10. Future plans for Hellbox? Gigs? E.Hellman: We try to promote our debut album a lot, on that includes also gigs. Now as i write these answers (week 6), we are in studio to record a new killer hellthrashin' album. There's gonna be better outbursts than earlier, heavy as hell!!! There's been also a small conversations with some label to release that. And on 2004 it could be nice to play on some festivals, maybe abroad. More info: |
