1. IMPALED NAZARENE: ALLTHAT YOU FEAR - NEW RECORD IS IN STORES 3RD NOVEMBER 2003.
ALL THAT YOU FEAR IS RECORDED AT ASTIA STUDIO BY ANSSI KIPPO AND MIXED AT FINNVOX

IS THIS GOING TO BE THE BEST IMPALED NAZARENE ALBUM SO FAR?

- For us, yes, it is. For the record buying public, who the fuck knows? We are 13 years together, this is our album number eight. For some, our best album is Latex Cult, for some it our debut album. What I can say is that this album has fucking tight musicianship, best production we ever had, fastest songs we ever wrote. It is more brutal than AOWDNMP was. Yet it is more catchy.

2. IMPALED NAZARENE PRESENTS A NEW GUITARIST TUOMO LOUHIO (X-ANTIDOTE) AT NEW RECORD, ALL THAT YOU FEAR.
DID HE TAKE PART TO COMPOSING WORK AND WHAT KIND OF INFLUENCE HE BRINGS TO IMPALED NAZARENES MUSIC?

- He wrote Halo Of Flies on the new record. And he did add his own things on other members songs too. He is fantastic guitar player and according to Anssi Kippo (Astia studio), he is on the same level as Alexi Laiho is as guitar player. Just listen to his leads on the album, they are incredible. He really brought us to a new level as a band!

3. WHAT ARE THE MAIN OR THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN IMPALED NAZARENES COMPOSING WORK? DO YOU THINK CERTAIN
WAYS TO DO MUSIC OR IS THERE GREAT PLANNING WHEN DOING NEW MATERIAL FOR IMPALED NAZARENE ?

- We don� t compose songs as unit. We all write songs at home and then, when we meet at rehearsals, we show our stuff to others. If we like what we hear, we keep the song, might arrenge it a bit here and there. Or we might say, let� s keep that riff but just forget the rest, get back to drawing board. I cannot say what the other members are looking for when they compose their own tracks but myself, I just usually play guitar till I suddenly realize that I have a riff or two that can actually work. My songs have always been very simple, two or three riffs per song and I try make them catchy, even if they are very simple riffs that I use.

4. THERE ARE IMPALED NAZARENE GIGS 18RD AND 19RD NOVEMBER 2003 IN ITALY AND RECORD RELEASING GIG AT GLUB PERKELE
FINLAND 30RD NOVEMBER. ARE YOU GOING TO PLAY NEW SONGS IN ITALY AND IS IT LIKE RELEASING GIGS THERE ALSO?

- Italy shows are not record release shows, they just normal gigs for us. We are going to play six new songs there,
of course, as we need to promote our new album. Most of the set is composed of old material, we usually have around
22 songs in our set list.

5. WHAT KIND OF TOUR IS COMING WITH ALL THAT YOU FEAR?

- We will have Baltic Sates tour in November, if all goes as planned. We will do these one-off shows aroud Europe
   and outside Europe as much as humanly possible. We will have a short headlining tour in Europe late February - mid March.
   And as we finally have somebody to sell shows for European festivals, we hope � to score as many fests as possible.
   There are lots of talk for Canada/USA/South America but you never can tell whatever they actually happen or not.

6. DO YOU EXEPT SOMETHING FROM FINNISH TV-JOURNALISM AFTER ALL THAT YOU FEAR RELEASE?

- We are recording Sessions Live program (Sub TV) on 19th of November and it shall be aired on 27th of November. But as you probably are hinting more scandalous reactions, who the fuck knows. At least we know by now how ugly it can get.

7. DOES THE PUBLICITY LIMIT OR HAVE ANY INFLUENCE FOR YOUR LYRICS OR BAND IMAGE? IS THE BAND GETTING MORE AGRESSIVE IN SOME LEVEL AT ALL THAT YOU FEAR?

- On the new album, Urgent Need To Kill basically reflects that shit. But as for the band image, well, we have always been like this. Lets say that the older you get, you have more hate inside you. It is not anymore youthful bigotry hate, this hate is now firmly rooted in one´s life expriences. And by the way, the title means this: WE ARE All That You Fear. It is a little reminder for our enemies.

8. WHEN READING THIS 25.10.2003, THE ALBUM HAVE BEEN RELEASED. THERE IS A LOT OF NU-METAL GOING ON, BUT IMPALED NAZARENE DOES NOT FIT IN THAT GATEGORY. I STILL THINK IMPALED NAZARENE IS GOING TO BE IN TOP-TEN LIST OF FINLAND. SO, WHAT KIND OF PERSON IS IMPALED NAZARENE FAN NOVADAYS?

- Actually, in Finland our album is out 27.10. And you can bet your ass we will not be in top ten or top forty for that matter. Only our debut album actually hit national charts, firmly in nr. 40 for one week. All the other albums have been in top 50 but since it is top 40 what counts, nobody knows that. As for our fans, there are so many different kind of fans that I cannot answer that really. Except for one thing: They have a fucking good taste!
