Now, on to the more important things about Rodger!
I think that Rodger is a little more cunning than we give him credit for. I believe that Rodger is honourable and sweet, but I also think he is milking it for all it is worth.
It was fantastic when Rodger just "happened" to forget his glasses and have everyone else read the messages that his family left in his bible. It was a great way to get brownie points! Good going Rodger!! This is a great way to make people feel extra guilty when they think about voting you out.
Rodger is also flying very low under the radar. When Jeff P asked Roder at TC who he thought the leader was, Rodger was very smart to point out that Michael was the leader. Rodger was very involved in the shelter building project, but he still managed to push Mike out into the forefront. Now look what's happened! How much controversy has that caused for Mike!?! And all the heat is taken off Rodger. No one is saying, "Let's boot Rodger because he's old"! They are concentrating on Mike instead.
Very smart move Rodger.
| I also think Rodger is doing an extremely good job with his Liz alliance/friendship. He picked the one girl in the group that he knows is trustworthy. You just watch... given a chance, these two will go very far. Just like the Rich/Rudy alliance that was built on 100% trust. (not that I think Rodger is like either of those people! HA!) |  |
All in all, I would keep an eye on Rodger. I think he will make it far. I actually don't think Rodger will win, however, because he is too weak to win physical immunity challenges, and he will be seen as a threat after the merger. But I do think he will make it far.
