In the movie, The Emperor's New Groove, the characters Kuzco and the dad go through trials which make them stronger. They are on their mission to get away from Ezma and Krunk. At first they don't like each other atl all. Kuzco is just using the dad to get back to his palace and the dad is helping Kuzco because he feels it is his duty. They go through many ordeals including falling down a waterfall, running into wild jaguars, and falling through a bridge. Although they had their differences, they had a common goal. They became close friends and both ended up savind each other's life. In this movie it shows how although people may start off as enemies, they can become friends by going through the same trials and being put in the same circumstances.
