This was an excellent site that describes how the Romanov family came to rule and reign over Russia for several years. The Romanov Family is a very essential part of what Russia has become. This royal family was also a great impact on the Russian Revolution. The site mainly focuses on Peter and Catherine The Great but also talks about Alexander the I. These are very important people to these times and this website helped describe the importance of their role throughout the Russian trials and triumphs in history. I also like and enjoy this site a lot because it focuses on the history and culture of Russia but also at the same time, the great rulers. The site is sort of like a timeline that follows the Romonav family throughout all of their many years leading Russia. It also tells of the misfortune that they had with Rasputin and the Romonav family disappearing days. Another way this site helps teach and embellish on the Russian Revolution is explaining the Romonavs' lives, which was basically the backbone of the society because whatever the Romonavs set in action was done by the people. This site overall was very educational and helped to provide background information needed to learn a little more about the Romonav family.

Rasputin, a "crazy" monk, was actually a real person that existed during the Romanov reign in Russia during the Russian Revolution. This crazy monk was said to be sent from God and people thought that everything he said was true. But really, he did not help the Romanov family at all, instead he ended up cursing the Romanov family. This website is mainly focused on Rasputin and basically embellishes on the story I have just told. It describes him as a person but also the crazy things that took place when Rasputin was near. This site is so important because it really shows that with Alexandria listening to Rasputin's every word, the Romanov dynasty soon came to a stop. The site explains the supernatural events that took place such as Rasputin being "unstoppable" or his mysterious healings. The site also describes why people trusted Rasputin. Why did people trust Rasputin? This is a good question and the site answers it by saying he "rescued" Alexandria's son as well as hav other "miracles" happen. Overall I think that this site was very good at explaining Rasputin and the effects that he had on the Romanovs as well as the Russian people.

This site speaks of the Russian Revolution as a whole and describes each thing that caused the resolution as well as the immediate and long term results. The site escirbes the socialist party history, as well as the radicals that reformed the way Russians thought. These people that the site speaks of include Lenin, Stalin, the Romanovs, and others that led the way into the center of the Russian Revolution. This site is very good because it is not bias so it does not label either pro or con to any event. The site states the facts which helps people to come up with their own opinions of the Russian Revolution.  Aside from the people which shaped the Russian Revolutionthe site also describes in detail of events that occurred during this period in time. The site basically shows the importance and impact that the Russian Revolution brought to Russia then as well as today. In conclusion, I believe that this site helps people understand the background to the Russian Revolution and what it is all about.
