Monday, 6/23/03 - Scraped and washed parts, painted them
Tuesday, 6/24/03 - Continued on parts (for Power Wagon), Put engine in, watched and learned about checking valve clearances
Wednesday 6/25/03 - Finished cleanind last parts, put new axle boots on a Porsche 356, assembled pedal + master cylinder for the brakes on the Power Wagon
Thursday, 6/26/03 - Worked more on Power Wagon - Parking brake + engine + assembly of grill and such
Friday, 6/27/03 - Worked on Power Wagon - Put in tranny and radiator
Monday, 6/30/03 - Worked on floor panels and put in the parking brake on the 'wagon.
Tuesday, 7/1/03 - Learned how to mount and balance tires, finished pwr wagon.
Monday, 7/7/03 - Changed front right brake hose on a 1966 230sl mercedes. Removed engine from a Porshce 356, took off generator and regulator.
Tuesday, 7/8/03 - helped put engine in porsche, brought my SAAB engine in, worked on cleaning a valve cover.
Wednesday, 7/9/03 - Worked on putting wires + heater intake on the Porsche.
Thursday, 7/10./03 - Removed oil pump on my engine. Finished porsche, made a small part for steve to weld on, helped steve with dent removal.
Friday, 7/11/03 - Worked on stripping my block (the saab/ford v4)
Monday, 7/14/03 - Finished stripping my block to send to the machine shop.
Thursday, 7/17/03 - Went to drop off my block after getting it ready, machince shop could only do 90 degree v's though.
Friday, 7/18/03 - Worked on the porsche, put the generator in and fixed some wireing issues (fixed lights and turn signals)
Monday, 7/21/03 - Started working on the sunbeam. Cleaned tie rods and painted them along with the brake drums and other parts
Tuesday, 7/22/03 - Cleaned and painted tie rod ends, sandblasted drive shaft and put in one UV joint
Wednesday, 7/23/03 - Put in second UV joint and painted the driveshaft, made a house call for a porshce 356.
Thursday, 2/24/03 - brought in a willys jeeps for painting, will work on tomorrow, dropped my engine off at willys (different) cleaned, painted and mounted motor mouns for the sunbeam.
Friday, 7/25/03 - Assembled motor mounts on sunbeam, painted tranny on sunbeam (taped it off)
Tuesday, 8/19/03 - Learned how to adjust valve clearances, took starter off of a '46 Ford
Wednesday 8/20/03 - Took the head off of the Power Wagon, as it had blown the gasket.
Thursday, 8/21/03 - Put starter back on the '46 Ford, replaced the front right brake hose.
Thursday, 9/11/03 - Worked on my saab, got ready to remove the tranny.
Friday, 9/12/03 - Removed tranny (much harder than it should have been, I ended up breaking the mount) and started cleaning the engine compartment.
Friday, 9/19/03 - Cleaned the work area, removed heater box assembly.
Saturday, 9/20/03 - Removed front discs and hubs, removed backing plates, dissasembled caliper ass., took apart calipers, took apart the clutch master and slave cylinders.
Tuesday, 9/21/03 - Sandblasted brake backing plates, caliper holders, calipers, and parts washed the clutch master and slave.
Tuesday, 9/23/03 - Dissassembled front left suspension. Removed spring, shock, spring mount plate and loosened ball joints.
Wednesday 9/24/03 - Took apart front right suspenion, (includes all above parts), had an interesting incident with the spring compressor. Didnt catch it on camera as it ran out of battery early on.
Thursday, 9/25 - Sandblasted springs and mounts plates, disconnected hubs from discs.
Saturday, 10/11/03 - Rebuilt clutch master and a wheel cylinder.
Tuesday, 10/14/03 - Dropped rotors at the parts store to be turned.
Worked on getting my rear axle off, removed the rear springs and shocks.
Tuesday, 11/4/03 - POR - 15'd my springs, brake backing plates and the spring mounts. They look pretty!
Thursday, 11/6/03 - Removed the engine from a black Porsche 356.
