| Thanks - It's nice to be nice... |
| It has to be said that very little information in this site is of my own original thought. Almost all of the stuff you will have found in here has come from other people. Particular thanks must go to: Dave "Sonnet" Barrow - UK Saab Owners Club Motorsport chap and hugely knowledgable on things way above me. Dave has responded to a barage of emails I have sent him, pestering him for information and he has always come up with the goods. Alistair "Fliptop" Philpot keeps the Saab 96 regitser. He was my first contact when I got the car and he got me going on it, again, bounding with enthusiasm. The forums hold a wealth of information, notably Saab-V4 and UKSaabs and regular contributors such as Woody and RSIMPS and too many others to mantion have helped me out no end. Visit theses sites and join in. Alex - my new best friend from the netherlands - has helped out a lot, especially in sourcing the metal timing gears. Cheers mate. Paul has a lot to answer for as my original intention was to do very little to the car....and then I saw his Rally 96 with Weber 40DFI, Soccerball alloys, the works. Baldy Mike - a friend of a friend really. A paint sprayer who repaired some paintwork on the doors when I first got the car for free (!) and resprayed my new old style grille for the price of a few beers. (Mental note: Find someone with skills in a trade and stay frineds with them!) Thanks chaps. Have a drink on me. And take the weekend off work as well - you deserve it. |
