SAID Alumni Association X'mas Party and Raffle
Last December 11, 1999, at SAID Multi purpose 2nd Flr. General Assembly

The very first project we have launched was the Christmas Party and Raffle Draw of S.A.A. Admittedly, it was not an easy event  to prepare. Our president, ms. Carolyn Dagani was the one in-charge of formulating and discussing the final plans for the said event. Each and every officer was given specific tasks to do.
Presparations included the printing of tickets to be sold - this was no joke for there were 200 booklets to be printed! Shopping and wrapping of prizes was not easy either. The most difficult part of all was encouraging the members to sell the tickets and to look for possiblesponors. Planning and preparing for the program itself was quite hard because by the time we were doing this everybody was tired and was getting impatient - Sure! It was a very demanding project.

it wouldn't really help to add that on the day of the program itself December 11, 1999, the weather didn't want to cooperate either. Our original palns had to be changed in order to adjust with the very unpredictable weather. But the good news is that despite all the problems and unexpected circumstances, we pushed through with the party successfuly, many came to attend, witness, and participate in all of our activities. happiness was very evident in the eyes of all those who participated, especially those who won in the raffle and in the games as well. Surely our hard work paid-off. Seeing through the eyes of our guests that they were all having a great time gave us, the officers, a heady and sublime feeling, something that could never be equalled. Undeniably, a great way to end a fruitful year, and at the same time, a fun way to welcome the coming of new millenium!
