2000-2001 Platform
Human Needs and Civil Rights
Human Needs
We believe our society's leaders should be more concerned with human needs than with human profit.

The Party encourages lawmaker to take steps to provide the following services free through public funding:

    * A universal health care system
    * Low-income housing
    * An efficient mass-transit system (mono-rail, light-rail, etc.)
    * Day care centers for working single mothers
    * An education system up to an undergraduate degree

Civil Rights
We are committed to uphold the inalianable rights to all citizens foreign/domestic, regardless of class, race, gender, national origin, creed, ethnicity, disability, or sexual orientation.

The guiding instrument SASP uses is the Unted States Constitution Amendments I-XXVIII.

SASP will use all measures of social justice in which to apply these rights.
