| The Party's goals of economics is simply a basic independance from economic pressures. Taxes would be equalized rationally. The upper-class will receive the largest burden while the lower-class will receive the smallest burden. We are in favor of a repeal of the marriage penalty. We are opposed to tax breaks for the upper 1%. We are in favor for a Texas Constitutional Amendment to give more tax breaks to college students and low income families. We oppose the use of privatization of law enforcement, corrections and courts. We are in favor of a gradual reduction in the defense budget for active duty personell to last 10 years, ending with a 100% reduction of active duty forces. We are in favor to a gradual process of public ownership of the Unted States' Fortune 50 companies. Ratified ( 11 January 2001 - 4:30pm ) |
