THE 4 BLESSINGS ON THE GROOM

{To the groom} We bless you with a million good blessings. For the first blessing, we're blessing you with the blessing ofAvraham Avinu, 'Mi adir al hacol'.
You know, the deepest depths of a person is that which iscalled 'col. 'Wholeness'. But Avraham Avinu is even deeper thanthat. 'Adir al hacol'. He was even stronger than that thing whichis called 'col'. 'Wholeness'.
You know how strong he was in the service of G-d? When aperson is serving G-d with all his heart, all his soul, with allhis might, it's a gevalt. Avraham Avinu was much beyond that. 'Adir al hacol'.

And you know Yitzhak Avinu? The first Yiddele who wasblessing his children. How did he bless his children? Not withhis allness. 'Mi baruch al hacol'. Higher than his own oneness, his own wholeness. We bless you with the blessing of Yitzhak. You should have children, and every Friday night you should letthem be, "Mi boruch al hacol."

And Yaacov Avinu, 'Mi boruch {typo for 'mi gadol'?} alhacol'. You know friends, we see a lot of families in the world. We could say they're all together, their allness is reallytogether. But this is not the togetherness of the children ofYaacov Avinu with their parents. 'Mi gadol al hacol'.
How does greatness express itself? I'll tell yousomething very simple. A little person does not talk to anotherlittle person, because he thinks it's below him. But a greatperson, a real great person, talks to the smaller. A little kingtalks only to rich people. But the real king, the King of Kings,he only talks to the most humble, to the real people of the world. And you know sometimes the way parents relate to children. They think, "I'm so great, I'm older than the baby. Is that astupid baby! What do I have to talk about to the baby?" So whenthe children grow up, and let the parents know, "I remember howlittle you spoke to me when I was little. And to tell you thetruth, right now you look little to me, and I don't want to talkto you."
But Yaacov Avinu, 'Mi gadol al hacol'. Yaacov Avinu was areal Jewish father, greater than all men. Can you imagine YaacovAvinu when his first baby, Reb Reuven, was born? He was educatinghim to be a servant of G-d, right from the first day. More thanoneness, more than allness. So we bless you with the blessing ofYaacov. That all your children should be holy tribes.
And we bless you with the holy greatness of the Jewishfamily. You should have the words and the holiness to speak toyour children, even before they are born. 'Mi gadol al hacol'.

And we bless you with the blessing of David Hamelech. 'Midagol al hacol'. You know, 'dagol' comes from the word `flag'. Everybody has to fight FOR something in this world.
The whole world is fighting against this, against this one,but we are fighting to bring G-d's name into the world. We arefighting that 'Yiskadal vayisdadesh shemeh rabah'. DavidHamelech, the great Jewish king.
And a king needs a flag. David Hamelech is the one whocarries the great flag. 'Mi dagol'.
Houses can be very tall, and very high, but we don't feel thehighness of it. But a flag, it has to be very high, you could seeit from afar. If it's lying on the ground, its meaning is lost. Lots of people have a Jewish flag. They have the flag of G-don them, but it's lying on the ground. We bless you, that youshould never forget whom you're fighting for. You should neverforget that King David is your king. You should teach yourchildren to tell them where the flag is, where their place in lifeis, what they are born for in this world.

THE 4 BLESSING ON THE GROOM UNDER THE CHUPPAH

I know a little bit mhow much you were searching for G-dall your life, and know how much G-d was searching for you. Sowe bless you with the blessing of Avraham Avinu, of our FatherAbraham, because everybody knowns Avrohom Ovinu was searching forG-d every minute every second of his life, and we bless you miadir al hacol, to search for G-d is the strongest the deepestthing in the world.
Avrohom Avinu discovered mi adir al hacol, stronger thananything in the world, because when you search for G-d mamash, there is no power in the world who can turn you away from G-dh. Stronger than Heaven and Earth, stronger than all the angles, stronger than anything in the world .

Yitchok Ovinu knew he'll have one son who will begin all ofIsrael, has has to give the bracha to him. And you know that fromthe moment he can down from the Akedah, he came down from [the]altar, he was praying to G-d please G-d let me give the brocha tothe right person. Can you imagine how much Yitzak was crying, canyou imagine how much he cried the night before he gave out theblessing, can you imagine what gate of heaven he opened. So mibaruch al hacul, we bless you taht the gates of blessing should beopen to you like to our father Yitzhak.

Mi gadol al hacol: Avrohom was teaching Yitzhak all aboutG-d and Yitzohk was teaching Essav and Yakov, but do you know whoreally taught children about G-d -- the first one, -- YaakovOvinu...And maybe our parents didn't even know conscisouly thetechniqaue of giving it over, but obviously they did it. We arestanding here, standing here. Do you know who made G-d great,Yaacov Ovinu gevald did he make G-d great. Mi gadol al hacol. Doyou know what it is to have twelve children who believe in G-d, doyou know what it means to have your ownn minyan in Shul. So youknow what it means to have your own minyan all the time, mi gadolal hacol.

But then there is one more Holy Wheel to the wagon, DovidHaMelech. Mi doguol al hacol, mi dogul, It's one thing to makeG-d great. But then there is something deeper: to make G-d soclose.
Do you know why Dovid HaMelech's children will be Moshiach:because Dovid HaMelech discovered a new techniqe, Dovid HaMelechtaught his children how close G-d is.
So we blsss you with the blessing of Dovid Hamelech, mi dogulal hacol, you should teach your children how close G-d is, yhoushould teach all of Israel and the whole world how close G-d is. Mi dogul al ha col, hoo Y'varcech et haChoson.
