I. INTRODUCTION:

Nice to hear that you're planning to prepare a book of R. Shlomoteachings on the 12 months.

I tend to increasingly agree with your approach: that theteachings of R. Shlomo should be published intact, as given, withminimal editting; rather than (as I have done) in editted topicalexcerpts.

I used the latter approach to produce a set of teachings on theHolidays. That's \YOMTOV94 which, as you can see from the copy Isent you on disc, has excerpts on all the holidays (except Tub'Shvat, for which I found nothing) culled by a PSearch of\BOOK6A, which is essentially my pruned update of your C:\BOOK asof 4/94.

I'd say that at present we have, in descending order, teachings onPurim, Pesach, Chanukah, Sukkot, Tesha b'Av, Lag b'Omer, RoshHaShana/ Yom Kippur; I have nothing input on Tu b'Shvat.

N.B.: Re-checking =inv0494a I find:
       HH22	3	xt	1/27/72pm on Tu b'Shvat
(Collection, Haskala & Hadassah Sasson, Modi'in)

I gather that the summer 1994 Seminar at Yakar was on RoshHaShana/Yom Kippur.

This order largely reflects the times of year when R. Shlomo wasmost often in Israel; so the collections in the USA are likely tohave a very different distribution.

(Again, I hope that we will work to compile a comprehensivelisting of all R. Shlomo material in all collections, in allcountries.)

In listing material on Months, I will in general exclude materialon holidays, since that has been listed seperately.
