This project explored the ideas of obsessions, addictions and other mental problems. The project attempts to visually communicate some of the ideas and feelings that surround these issues. The boxes represent individuals each affected by their own obsession or problem, but it is only by exploring the individuals that we can discover what is actually wrong with them. Each box has a hinged panel, so with exploration of the box we can find this panel and open the box up. The insides of the boxes are covered in images or writing each suggesting an individual problem, Addiction, obsessive compulsion, Alzheimers and Schizophrenia. From the outside we put all these people in one pigeon hole, one of mad people, and it is only by exploring them that we can find the individual problems within them. |
