IES NUS-NTU Games (24 Feb 2001)

NUS IES is pleased to announce that we are organising an NTU-NUS Bipartite Games, in which engineering students from both NUS and NTU can participate in friendly games and get together! This event was held on 24 February 2001 at 1.00pm.The meeting point was outside IES room. The following games were played, followed by a prize presentation and barbeque.

Big Two :
   Each team is to send 2 representatives. A total of 4 rounds will be played against the opposing team. Substitution is allowed only after 1 round has ended.

Table Tennis :
   Each team is to send 5-7 representatives--3 singles(2 male and 1 female) and 2 doubles (mixed).

Volleyball :
   Each team is to send 6 members, with at least 3 females in the team. Unlimited substitution is allowed.

Court soccer :
   Each Team is to send 5 members. Unlimited substitution is allowed.

In the event of wet weather, volleyball players and court soccer players will play bridge and carrom instead.

Interested students can sign up as a team and select a captain among themselves. The captain is then to email to our email address: [email protected]

Please submit your team particulars in the email by 5 February 2001.This should include name, matric number, department and year of study and class, contact number and email address.

A deposit of $10 per team will be collected at further notice. The teams will be selected on a first come first serve basis, so do submit your particulars early.
