[Opponent: Stryfe]
[Match: Barbed Wire Ropes Electrified Steel Cage Match]

[Record: Better Than Yours!]

//Thoughts Running Through My Head//

Ricky Stanton got his claim to fame on Adrenaline. He beat me, but that match was pretty pointless, I had nothing to win from it besides adding him to another statistic list of the stars i've beaten in my career. That lose was nothing to me, that match meant nothing to me. Ricky Stanton means nothing to me unless he wins that title from Marissa Russo. When and if he does and after i'm through with Stryfe, then and only then can Ricky Stanton say he means something to me in this world... but enough about that loser... lets go onto talk about Stryfe. My opponent for Shockwave 3, my match is probably the most brutal match you can think of and you, the fans thought of the match and the upper heads made it. A Barbed Wire Ropes, Electrified Steel Cage Match. Winner is simply the one who finds a way out of the cage. Easy enough huh? No not really when the cage is electrified and when you touch the god damn thing you get an electric shock, but yo.. management like to put me in death-defying matches to get the best of my ability out of me. This time it's against the so called 'Phenomenal' Stryfe. Big deal.... He aint shit to me and never will be unless he holds a title that i want.

;;Scene One;;
Watching The Ocean View

We open up with Lance Mikes, its early morning and we can see Lance Mikes going for a morning jog. He is wearing a pair of black cotton shorts that go down to just above his knees, with his white trainers. He is also wearing a white netted vest over his upper body and a towel around his shoulders, going behind his neck. The camera is following Lance, the camera is looking towards Lance as he stops on the beach and turns to the water. The camera over his shoulders can see the view of the tides, the waves, and then we hear his voice. As the wind blows and you can clearly see the wind blowing through his top at the back, How is he not cold? Probably because he has been running and sweating.

Lance Mikes; Stryfe... In just a few short days we step in the ring for the second time to face off one on one, mono e mono. Most people wouldn't know how to train for a match like this, Hell i'm not even sure I know how to train for a match like this really. I mean besides giving myself a few electric shocks and cutting myself with barbed wire, but that isn't really going to prepare me for this match up I don't think. I guess it's all in the mind huh? It's all psychological. You have to prepare your mind and then and only then will your body be ready for the match aswell.  You are probably wondering then why am I go for a jog, well obviously to keep my stamina up because for a match like this who knows how long it is going to last, then again who knows how quickly the match can be won? Against the key to winning the match is to have a psychological advantage over your opponent, be in the right frame of mind for the match and then and only then can you win. If you are going into the match with an ounce of fear.. of doubt then consider yourself the loser.. because fear and doubt is what leads to you losing that match and when I walk down that ramp way and up that aisle and climb into this death pit with Stryfe believe me i'll be ready as ready as one can be for a match like this I will have no fear, and no doubts about what I am going to put myself through, and put Stryfe through to get the win. Ya see fear is only a four letter word to me, it means nothing.. fear is something that I don't do, the only thing in this world I fear is God himself, So if Stryfe thinks that coming into this match against him that I am scared of him, that I fear him then Stryfe really doesn't know me well enough to step in that ring with me, because to be able to beat your opponent you first really need to know alot about him, you need to scout him and know what his mind frame is like. Unlike before when we faced off Stryfe my mind set is totally different as most of you can tell by the why I am talking here today. I realised when I lost to Andy, I realised when I lost to Ricky Stanton that I needed to change things, I needed to change the way I was thinking and the first step in changing all that was having to sort my head out, having to focus on what I wanted, focus on the task at hand and take things one at a time. So firstly me and my brother Ray Mikes talked it over and he is ready to start up his wrestling career once again, When will he start? I have no clue because he really needs to get in shape and start training on a regular basis. At the moment he is sorting things out in his life and once he has all that sorted out he is going to join me on the road and train along side me. Now one would assume that because Stryfe beat me the last time we faced off in the ring, which was in singles competition that I have no chance of beating him at Shockwave 3. Some would say that because he beat me then he will beat me again. That is where people are wrong. Once someone has beaten you, once they have given you a taste of defeat you come back, you back twice as strong and even more ready to beat them than the last time you faced off. I know it is like that for me, Hell Throw me in the ring with Ricky Stanton, Andy or Marissa again and the outcome will not be the same as the last time I faced those three people because if I face them three again I will walk out victoriously and that is not a prediction, not an opinion.... just a FACT!

Lance holds the towel with one hand and rubs it across his face and through his hair, wiping his sweat away. He takes a few moments to catch his breath after all that running, and all that talking. He lets go of the towel and holds it from both ends as he begins to speak again.

Lance Mikes; Barbed Wire, Electrified Steel Cage. That is the type of match the fans chose for me and Stryfe to fight in. Alot of people had alot of crazy ideas for this match, I read a few of ideas the fans sent in and some of them are totally crazy and what does GBL do? He picks the two most dangerous matches he could find in that list, he picks the two most deadliest ones in there and puts them into one match. Now the only way to win this match is to exit the cage but how in the hell is that possible when the cage is surrounded by barbed wire and the steel cage is electrified so if we try to touch it, we get an electric current running through our body. We get a shock. Now I know i'm going to have fun throwing Stryfe into the barbed wire and into the electric cage and I know he is going to have alot of fun throwing me in to both of them too but that is besides the point. I know you allw ant to see me and Stryfe rip each others heads off, you want us to give you a match that you will never forget and well from my side believe me that is exactly what I am going to give you, and if I know Stryfe the way I do, that being he is one hell of a competitor then he is going to do the exact same and give you one hell of a match aswell so without a shadow out of a doubt at Shockwave 3 me and Stryfe are going to steal the show, we're going to tear the house down one more time and give everyone the match that they want to see. Now i've been in some of the most brutal matches I can think of. From first blood, Hell In A Cell tag team matches to career ending matches, street fights with Andy, Double Jeopardy Matches, i've been in barbed wire matches before in my time in Japan and some of the more extreme federations but i've never been in a match where someone would choose to use electricity... and that being on the structure of the steel cage to so if either me or Stryfe touch it we get a shock. Whoever thought of that idea in my mind is totally sadistic, crazy and just wants to see us two go at it for ages and basically try and kill each other to win this match and get a shot at the championship doing so. I would like nothing more than to destroy Stryfe and walk away with an opportunity to fight for the championship at a later date, being against Kristian Call for his title or Marissa Russo for her title or whoever holds the titles after Shockwave. The weirdest thing about this whole situation is Andy Titsuhiro.. I mean he was my stable buddy, along with GBL. Last Pay Per View, Numbered Days.. Andy was teaming with BJ fighting in tag team matches with that bitch and then he turned on me and tried to sky rocket his career and he did that in the coming weeks by defeating me in a street fight and now look he is headlining the Pay Per View and fighting for the World Championship against Kristian Call where as I should be fighting Marissa Russo but Ricky Stanton that sly son of a bitch snuck his way in and took that opportunity and I can't be mad at him because any other wrestler would have done the exact same so kudos and good luck to Ricky Stanton because after Shockwave 3 is over and the dust has settled and I have beaten Stryfe.. I would like nothing more than to take that strap away from you Ricky so lets just hope you get that win and I get my re-match for the title and my re-match against you... Ricky Stanton.. and believe me the re-match, at least for me will be OOHHH SOO PRETTY!

Lance walks towards the camera, and then walks past it. The camera turns around and we see him walking towards a bench, at the top of the sand of the beach. He eventually gets to the bench and sits down to take a rest. The camera gets closer to him. The camera stops and the camera man has obviously knelt down or moved the camera down at least as the camera focuses on Lance Mikes who has his head down a little with his elbows resting on his thighs and head in his hands as he looks down at the sand.

Lance Mikes; Its funny ya know... the death-defying matches always bring out the best in me, mainly because I like of show off my skills, my abilities in these type of matches more than I do in normal, single or tag matches... but mostly because I don't want to lose in a match like this. A match that has never been seen before.. I could go down in history and be the only winner of a match of this kind... and not only that I could go down doing that by beating someone of Stryfes nature here in UWF. These people see him as some type of amazing athlete, he maybe that but  Stryfe just remember you are not and never will be The Worlds Greatest Athlete... and that is what sets me apart from everyone else here in the UWF. I am greatness and believe me greatness is NOT given it is earned. I earned the name The Worlds Greatest Athlete with my ring skills, my high flying ability and my charisma and stamina to out last some of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in a wrestling ring. Names such as James Kimson, Matt Hunt, Sean Page, Taurus, Highlander, Kyle Cross, Snakebite, Ben Brain, 'The Solution' Hex, my mentor Steve 'The Destroyer' Hardy and many many more superstars that i've faced in my career and Stryfe if you haven't heard of those I just mentioned maybe you should do a little history lesson and do some research on their careers in the wrestling industry and you'll know why I mentioned just a few of the names of the stars i've stepped up against and shined brighter than. Hell i've faced some of the new comers here in UWF before back in the old days in the BWF. I remember Neekio, Icon and Ripper from their and I believe i've beaten Icon in the UWF, and if my memory serves me correctly i've never actually faced Neekio and hell i'm not even sure about Ripper because that is how insignificant he is to me. Here in the UWF i've beaten quiet alot of people that some would say are 'good' people like Shawn Terry, Tommy Shilly, when he was around. Hell I beat the village idiot and ran him out of the UWF, the one and only Tony Viction. Maybe I haven't beaten some of the big names like Kristian Call, or Mark Knight but that is simply because I haven't stepped in the ring to face them one on one because management haven't booked the matches, maybe they're saving them for later days, maybe they don't think I can step up to them or something, who knows? I know I can beat most of the people here in the UWF and I know I can give the ones that I think I can't beat a damn good fight and Stryfe you don't come under that list because I know I can beat. Yeah you might have beaten me before but was that match of any significant to either of us besides giving one of us a victory to add to our little win, loss, draw record on our resume? No it wasn't Stryfe but this match at Shockwave 3 is of significant to the both of us. It gives the winner a shot a The Championship. Whether it be Kristian Calls title or Marissa Russos title, who gives a damn huh? I don't think it matters to either of us Stryfe. Ya see cause this match actually means something, it means if I beat you, and I will it is just a matter of time now Stryfe, when i've destroyed you with the barbed wire and the electrified steel cage i'm going to go on and claim what is rightfully mine... the gold....

Lance looks up towards the camera and the camera zooms a little closer to him as he smirks at the camera.

Lance Mikes; WHY?! JUST LOOK AT ME!

Lance stands up and carries on with his jog from where he left off as the camera watches him jog off along the beach, near the tide and the waves as they get closer and closer to his feet.
