SEPT. 3, 1918 to JAN. 18, 2000

Brother of six and
Father to five;
He showed us to love
and how we must strive.

No job was too difficult
No quest was too grand;
He'd reach out with love
When stretching his hand.

He practiced the virtues
of GOD's greatest command -
when it came down to family
that was his strongest stand.

Only wanting our happiness
and torn by our grief...
Though 81 years...
It still seems too brief.

Sixty-two years of loving our mother
and caring for our sisters & our brothers...
Headstrong & stubborn might be negative traits -
That's how he handled life's twisted fate.

His name means courage, manly and strong
It's his legacy that will help us along.
To you, my dear father, you've helped us in ways -
that our hearts will cherish with each passing day.

Te voglio bene sai, io papa.
Questo cinquain per te con tutti amori.

From all of the Pasqualino's to all who remember...
