This S600 coupe is modified by AMG, the unique accessories manufacturer authorized and supported by Mercedes Benz. Tamiya captures every detail like the V12 powerplant, 18" rims and etc. The assembling process was straight forward, although the the assembly of the power plant took a little bit more of time. The major difficulty is the paint job for the side molding and the window frame. The color of the side molding and window frames were painted to silver according to the instruction. I purposely use a color from Testor called "chrome silver" in order to reproduce the shiny effect. But I cannot master the masking skill for that tiny window frame. So, the whole model was screw up by such an imperfection.
