The new Beetle looks cool. In fact, Volkswagen's policy would favor the new Beetle to be sold as a fashionable product instead of a motor car. Although the new Beetle is definitely overpriced, there are still tons of people willing to pay for its "cute" shape. However, Tamiya made the price of the model kit reasonable. The model kit shares exactly the same chassis, suspensions of Golf-The actual Golf and Beetle are sharing the same platform, engine and suspension too. This makes the assembling process straight forward.
