Sakuma Ryuichi

Ryuichi is, by far, my favorite Gravitation character. There's something about the dual-personality -- often distinguished as Ryu-chan and Sakuma-san -- that I find incredibly interesting. He's unstable, for certain, but it would appear that he revels in his instability. From the childlike Ryu-chan to the intense artist Sakuma-san, he provides wisdom and guidance to Shuichi in his own unique way. Oh, and let's not forget Kumagoro, either...

ASK

Tachi the mastermind, Ma-kun the "playboy," and Ken-chan the "gentle soul" -- Bad Luck's rivals at NG. One doesn't see a tremendous amount of development of the characters behind ASK, save for the plot where Tachi does nasty things to Shuichi. Nevertheless, there is the implication of redemption for the once-arrogant band, as they learn that friendship must always come before fame.

Uesugi Tatsuha

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a Tatsuha x Ryuichi shipper, even if Ryuichi is nearly twice Tatsuha's age. Again, one doesn't see a tremendous amount of character development with Tatsuha, though it is certain that he's a conniver, using any given situation to his own advantage. He's also great comic relief (especially in the OAV, where he creates that elaborate ceremony to "curse" Yuki), and a foil to Yuki, whom he so resembles.

Others

I'm a fan of nearly every character in Gravitation (Save, perhaps, for Ayaka-chan. She can go jump in a lake.)... I also have a bit of a soft spot for Hiro, Shuichi's long-suffering and eternal best friend, and K, a true American with firepower and the attitude to match. I just haven't spent as much time hunting screencaps for them all. But here are a few of my favorites, including characters not listed above and group shots.
