“Good Morning to you my Darling”

Are words you’ll never hear

For I’ll always leave by Sun Up

Whenever I visit here

I have my reason for this

To me it seems quite clear

To stay would lead to parting

A thing I cannot bare

I know this will hurt you deeply

This I did not wish to do

But not to say these words to you

Would be being to you un-true

No-matter what you think of me

For saying what I’ve said

I feel that what I’ve said here

Is simply for the best

I sense you’ll disagree with me

This I’d fully understand

And if you can convince me

I may just change my plans

So tell to me quite truthfully

What you think and how you feel

The differences I’d make to you

If your heart I was to steal.
