I (Socrates) hate Heinz ketchup for their deciet and lies. I recently experimented with an "easy squeeze" ketchup bottle and, well, read the letter I wrote them.

Good Day! After finding myself in the ketchup aisle at the grocery store I notice and upside down bottle of ketchup labeled, "easy squeeze." I thought, "How could squeezing ketchup get any easier?" Well I soon found out that it can not get any easier as this "easy squeeze" bottle of ketchup was no where as easy as your regular bottle of ketchup. I first used it on a hotdog, and I don't know about you, but I apply ketchup from one end to the next for a nice, even application. I aim the ketchup, and after applying maybe 30 pounds of pressure, the ketchup shoots out, hitting the tip of the dog and going over my hand. That was not an easy squeeze. I'm sure it is great if you want a puddle for your fries or on top of a hamburger, but having to put forth that much force to get the ketchup out doesn't seem worth it.

Dear Socrates, Thank you for visiting the Heinz web site. We appreciate you taking the time to contact us and we would like to assist you. Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 4:30 pm Eastern time. Please provide the reference number below when contacting us. After we receive the code information, we will contact you regarding your concern. In the meantime, if please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Heinz Consumer Resource Center
They sent me a letter in the mail with a free coupon for any bottle of Heinz whatever. You know what I'm gonna do with that free bottle of "easy squeeze"? I'm going to put it under a car tire at the grocery store (not my car) and when the owner backs out, it will squeeze the bottle and release the ketchup onto the pavement!!! Or I'll just get a normal bottle of ketchup.

Dear Socrates,
Thank you for letting us know about your experience with the Heinz EZ Squeeze container. We appreciate the opportunity to respond. (liars)
Packaging is an extremely important area of our business and the EZ Squeeze bottle was extensively tested before being introduced on the market. Your experience is certainly not what we would have expected.
Consumer feedback is always welcome, and we're glad you brought this to our attention. The information you've provided will be helpful in our efforts to continually improve our products. (you CAN NOT improve upon shaking, turning upside down and squeezing a nice, gentle stream of ketchup)
Thanks again for contacting us. We hope our products will be completely satisfactory in the future and that you will accept the enclosed with our compliments.
Sincerely,
Patrick Dunegan - Consumer Resource Center
So maybe I don't hate them so much now, but that EZ Squeeze will damn anyone who uses it!
