Jeez! I haven't written on this thing forever! Just recently, I purchased a season pass to
I don't have a riding partner, so if you are planning to go, please e-mail me and let me know.
May 6, 1998 is my last final. Then it's summer break! Yeah! Actually, I'm kind of sad. I will miss all my friends. I will miss Meghan, Greta, Kristin, Jaime, Emily, Laura, Sally, Misti, Christina, Peter, Carsten, Lorenzo, Kyle, Kraig, Chad, Justin, Sky, Seth, and just everyone at Wittenberg. I will miss the Wittenberg community. I love Wittenberg so much! I really really do. But, maybe this summer, I can meet my new friend Thomas. He's so cool. He goes to Marshall now and is transferring to OU for next year. He plays baseball. OK, well now I'm done with my journal entry for the day.
April 4, 1998 is our Kappa Delta formal. I had my friend ask this guy Dale whom I'd never met but knew was a cutie. He said yes. I met him at a party. He wasn't excited to meet me. He called and said he had to work Saturday. I was glad, because I didnt' like him either after meeting him. I called this guy who was a Lambda Chi. He said he'd love to go with me, but he was already going with my sister Sara! Wierd, huh? Then, I was going to ask this other guy who lives in my dorm. I decided he wouldn't be any fun, so I am taking Sally and Laura, because they are both dying to go to a formal and are GDIs.
No, really it is a KD exclusive at Wittenberg University! :) We held Singled Out as our Shamrock Project this year to support our philathropies, which are Project Women and KiDs (Kappa Delta's against Child Abuse). And, well, the reason it's on my site as a current event, is because I GOT SINGLED OUT!!! OH, YEAH! :) I get to go out to chi Chi's for a free dinner! Isn't that cool? I went on my date and we had so much fun. We talked ont he phone for an hour before. We got ready. I went to his house. We talked for an hour. We went to Chi Chi's for an hour and we came back and talked for another hour and his freind came and visited. Believe me it was fun.
I just got back from Spring Break. Funny thing is, you are expecting me to say I went to "sunny Florida", aren't you? Well, NO! I went to Michigan thanks to Dana (my KD sister) and her driving abilities... in her powder blue Cadillac.
I stayed with my friend Laura, who is from Port Huron. We went to the mall, Denny's, to church, and out in the chilling cold hood of PH! We sat on the rocks underneath the bridge to Canada. I was almost out of the nation on Spring Break! I met lots of friends and not-so-friends: Lydia, Julie, Jolene, Micah, Rachel, Joe, Tim, Aaron, Brian, Mark, Becky, Matt, Pastor Strong, and Pastor Clark and more I don't remember. We even stopped at Michigan State.
