Man, we are glad that is over.  Our prenatal class was this past Saturday and it was a very long 8 1/2 hour class.  We learned some things but not much since we hae been doing a lot of research on our own.  However, the class did make us both a lot more comfortable with the entire labor and delivery process including having a c-section.  So, it was worth the time and money but we will not be taking any more in the future with the next pregnancy.  There was a lot of drama that some of the other couples brought.  There was this one couple who were trying to decide whether or not to circumsize their son at birth or at 2 years of age.  2 years of age - are they kidding?????  Why would you want to put a 2 year old through that when they could go through it at a much younger age and not even remember it?  I swear those people must be nuts!!!!  There was another couple where the husband kept making comments that he was glad it was her going through this and not him.  He also kept getting phone calls and he even left the class several times to go out for a smoke!!!  I was shocked.  I thought this was a couples class not a singles.  Boy, that lady is in for a tough road.  Thank god Christian is not like that at all.  He is going to be a wonderful coach and dad!
