Well, the early winter season is officially here. :(  Our sailboat, Shadowfax, came out of the water for dry docking this past weekend.  She came out just in time too.  Lake Erie blew out, dropping a matter of feet overnight, and she was just about sitting on the bottom.  However, the water came back up for just enough time to have her hauled out on the scheduled date.  She is now safely secured for the winter.  Spring is so far away.....

My grandfather continues to need all the prayers and positive thoughts that are possible.  He was moved to critical care over night.  He began to vomit blood and they now believe that he has some internal bleeding going on somewhere since his blood count continues to drop even after receiving more than 4 units of blood in the last 4 days.  The doctors are going to be conducting some additional tests to try and pinpoint the bleed.  Not only is he bleeding somewhere but his kidneys have also begun to shut down.  He is continuing to fight - he has always been a stubborn man.  He is such a sweet man and does not deserve any of this.  So, please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
