Entry for May 29, 2007 - A day in Hartland.
Well, for Hunter's first Memorial Day we went out to Hartland with a couple of our friends to see a parade and then to have a BBQ. It was a really good time. The parade was right down the road from where Christian and I got married. We thought that was great!!! We were able to take Hunter by Waldenwoods and lots of memories of our wedding day came flooding back - they brought a HUGE SMILE to my face. The parade was fun. Hunter seemed unphased by all the activity. He smiled and laughed a lot at us - not the parade. He even fell asleep for just about an hour and not even the marching band could wake him up!!! I swear, my son could sleep through a hurricane. He truly takes after his daddy on that one!!! After the parade we went back to our friends house for a BBQ and just relaxed and enjoyed the day. Hunter became quite active and talkative at their house. He really loved their ceiling fan. He couldn't take his eyes off it!!! The day came to an end around 6 and we headed for home. It was a GREAT holiday weekend!!!
