Thanksgiving break was just wonderful for me. The first few days was spent at King Drew High School. Monday through Wednesday I went to King Drew for step practice. Step practice lasted from 10 o'clock until 12 o'clock in the afternoon. On Thursday, thanksgiving day, my family and I drove to Vegas and spent our whole weekend out there. The drive was very short because my mother doesn't play when it comes to getting places. We stayed in the Luxor hotel and had a great time. My auntie had the pleasure of making our wonderful dinner that we enjoyed. After dinner of course everyone fell asleep and that was the end of that day. Friday everyone went to the gym and sat in the Sauna, it was fun but I was getting to hot. After our experience in the gym, we went home and had cookies. I felt that having cookies after was pointless for our workout, but I still ate them lol. Saturday afternoon my cousins went to the pool and I decided to stay in. Most of the time when I was in Vegas I slept. Sunday being my last day out in Vegas was hard for me because I didn't want to leave. The minute my mother said get up, its time to load the car everything started crushing down. Another week of Thanksgiving break would have been nice, because I hadn't finished a little of my homework. Majority of my homework was done during my break on Friday, but I wanted to get the full experience of my break you know.
The quality time that was spent with my family was exciting to me because it was cherishable moments spent. Overall, I had a wonderful break! I'm looking forward to Christmas break coming December 23rd. Who knows where we go this time, I would like to go to some place I've never been though.
