A few days back, one of my collegues gave forth and interesting statement. He said he noticed something that he felt so surprising.
He said almost one among every five females he see now a days are pregnant.
That was amazing. That puzzled me too. I too went for a survey only to find the fact to be true. Needless to say that my sample were limited on the following constraints.
- Only females in the age group can-be-pregnant was considered. I mean to say that no kids or aunties were looked on. As a matter of fact, I dont look at them even if I wasn't doing this survey.
- Only females which I see in my office for lunch break and the ones I see outside when I go home late evening were considered, ofcourse a few which I saw in the weekends were included as well.
- No one shown in the TV or movies were considered. Only sights in person were entertained.
- This survey cannot be considered accurate. There might be females who fake pregnancy by their naturally huge tummies.
And my fellow friend also gave forth an interesting explanation for this. He said that around four-five months back, on a weekend, it rained so heavily in Banglore that no one was able to go out of their homes. Pretty impressive explantion indeeed. Can be taken as a reason except for one simple doubt which keeps loitering in my mind now. Is there something called pregnancy season?
