This might seem like and advertisement for the product, in fact I don't mind doing that as well. I'm extremely pleased with this product and hence the post.
Today for the first time, I used this blade for my shave. It's been long since I started shaving. If I recollect correctly, my first shave was when I was 14 and that too by accident. While studying, I wiped the sweat on my mustache using a used blade (which I was using for sharpening my pencil) and that cleared a section of it. It looked horrible; it looked like a rat or a cockroach bite it off. So I had to shave and clear the whole thing off.
Please don't guess my age; I'm into my 13th year of shaving. I started off with razor blades, which was my father's suggestion then moved on to twin blades. This was his suggestion as well. Later when the prize of these bladed touched the sealing I changed to use-and-throw type blades which were much cheaper than these.
But all the time, I never got a clean shave. My skin is soft and my hairs of beard are too thick. So it's quite rare to get a shave without getting a few cuts. Neither of the blades which I used helped me. The use-and-throw ones hardly lasted for an average of less than 2 shaves for me. Some of which were not even good for one complete shave.
I had only done shaving by others two or three times. All at different places. But all these times, I was severely bruised by them and had to leave the place bleeding. They did apologize for that but also said never to come again; the low quality blades that they use were never good enough for me.
I'm a born miser and I would never spend money on something which I don't enjoy doing. Shaving is one of them. That's why I never thought about going for high quality blades. Lately I was thinking about going for Vector Plus blades, but then I got these Gillette Mach 3 blades by coincidence. It was a gift to my brother given as a compliments; mailed to my home address in Kannur by post. Since my brother already had one, I thought I'll take these instead. Though I got these when I went home for Onam last time, I didn't use for the past one month since I already had one pair of Supermax triple blades which I wanted to exhaust first.
Enough of old stories, now to the best part of it. Today I tried this one. It was amazing by even the first touch. It didn't feel like a shave at all. I felt like rubbing some smooth substance on my face. I was so thrilled. I didn't haste through it though that wouldn't have done any harm. Compared to the normal shaves which takes 20+ minutes for me, this hardly took 5 minutes. More to add to the merry, it completed without any bruises or cuts. I was overjoyed. Wonder why I took so late to try this out. Even the electric shaver which I tried for some time didn't give worth enough good.
Now I understand that certain good things in life only come in life if we spend huge bucks for it. Everything is not free; most of the good things don't come cheap. It's been a good day today after a wonderful shave. This product did change my day and I'm happy about it. Feeling good about shaving after so long of starting it. I can't come up with a word which suits my feelings now, I would rather use this to describe the product. "Impressive".
