The Daily Pixel
Named after my daily newletter to my email pals, this blog is basically a diary of my life! How exciting!
May 11, 2006
All right, since it seems I will be doing this blog for a while, so I may as well share a little about myself.

I live in Ohio with my parents and my annoying brother. Most of the time we all get along pretty well, but there's always the occasional fight as usual. I don't really get along with my mom; she goes on and on and on if I don the slightest thing wrong and I get grounded for a week if I look at her funny! Well, that may be a little exagerrated, but you get the idea.

I have a ton of pets: a big greyhound, 5 cats of various species, a bird (my little tweak!), and my bro has a ghoti, of as you would say, a fish! Heehee! It's weird how that works. See, the English language is so strange, you can spell fish that way: "gh" from rough, "o" from women, and "ti" from vacation. It's really weird, but it's true!

Anyway, back to the pets. My dog is really old and in dog years he's like 80 something, but he is still just like a pup! He's a lot slower and more tired than he used to be, but that's what comes with age. Two of my kitties - a maine coon and a tortoise shell are old two, but they are much more energetic. The older of the two, the maine coon, is completely deaf and almost senile. Sometimes you can hear her screaming to herslef at random times. My mom says that's 'cause she's trying to make herself hear, like when you are listening to loud headphones and you talk louder so you can hear yourself.

The tortoise shell seems to have never grown up - she acts like a kitten and she is 8! She likes she sit on my dad's feet and then get kicked by them. I know it's really weird! She then moves farther away from you and expects you to stil kick her. That kitty also like to play hide-and-seek! You go and hide from her and peer around the corner and she satres at you and eventually come to "find" you and then you run away and hide again! I have weird pets.

The other three are outdoor cats, and the only boy cat I have is of those. He is the sweetest thing ever and has the cutest mew! It's like a kitten's mew, but from an adult! It's so cute! The other girls are another tortoise shell who is fat and lazy, and a white and black spotted something or other. She is really shy and won't come in the house, but she is the boy's girlfriend! It's so cute! The hang out togtehr and nap in the sun on our deck!

My tweak is a very small bird bursting with personality. She likes naps near the window, and fight our indoor cats, who are afraid of her. She like to walk around on the floor and follow my dad around, and since I got that bird diaper on her, she hangs out with him more. She likes to go on walks with us and I take her on the road, on my shoulder of course. She chirps a lot, but doesn't know how to talk. She screams the second she hears the front door open b/c that's where my dad comes in. I'm in the process of buying her a new sleep cage, so she doesn't have to use the same cage to sleep in, which BirdTalk recommended.

Well, that's the whole gang! I'll write some more tomorrow, but for now, Hasta la vista!
