First come, first served
OMG! It's May, there are only 7 days of school left and boy is it CRAZY!!! Today reminded me of a story from the first year I taught and so I must share. I am one of those people that show up early to work so I was always one of the first people there. The parking situation at this job was a little weird so if you got there at the wrong time you ended up with your car on the middle row which meant you were blocked in until the first or back row moved. Well, of course I was always on the front row because I was one of the first people to get to work. Now keep in mind we were required to stay until 3:15 at this job. One day during the first couple of weeks of school I get out to my car to find a note on my windshield. The note reads, 'If you are not going to leave before 3:05 then don't park on the front row.' I could not believe it! Not only was someone rude enough to put this on my vehicle but it plainly indicates that this person is also leaving work 10 minutes before we are actually supposed too! I never found out who put the note there and I didn't stop parking on the front row either. First come, first served.
