I hope that when I dig through all of my stuff that I carelessly threw in to boxes the morning I cleaned out my classroom that I find this great letter a 6th grader wrote me two years ago.   I had this class that was gender seperated and had 28 6th grade boys in it.  My class only had 20 chairs so that was quite an adventure.  Anyway, these 28 boys were always acting out and acting a fool as they would say.  One day I had all I could stand and I told then they all had to sit there silently and write me a letter about what they had done wrong and what they could do to correct it.  One letter stood out.  It was from the young lad who was normally a pretty good student, however we all have our moments.  In the letter he expressed how upset he was that he was having to write the letter with everyone else because he had done nothing wrong.  He said 'they act that way cause they ain't got no home training!'  PRICELESS!!!

Speaking of not having home training, I was at Oak Mountain public lake on the 4th of July and I saw some questionable practices going down.  I am pretty certain that I saw two different couples 'having relations' in the lake not far from where I was.  I was convinced because one of the guys had a pair of shorts on top of his head that I saw his woman wearing a little while later.  Things that make you go hmmmmmm?????
