Entry for April 14, 2007
Well lets see....yard sales were ok this sat-I got more material to make hats with,a trippy pocketwatch that needs a battery,a cute hummingbird stained glass do hickey for the window in the kitchen,and some wacky things to put on my head next all Hallows. I need to sit down with the mando & play some-been lethargic the last two days but feel perkier today-maybe because I also found a couple of plastic window sill boxes at a wheel of a deal. I can get rid of the wooden one that has the termites holding hands so it won't fall apart.
I also need to get to my sewing machine-I want to do another brown hat so I can place it in my store. Speaking of the store,I'll be working on that too.
The clouds & cooler weather are back,& I'm thankful for that. Makes working in the yard so much easier.
I was trying new pick material on the mando-I am using the base of peacock feathers & they work pretty well! makes the playing a little more realistic,I think. Now I need to make a hatpin out of the feathers before they get all messed up. I have an idea I'll try later on that.
