Tampines Mall

I had a late lunch with Ti yesterday at 4pm at Pizza Hut, Tampines Mall....after her school. We took about 10 minutes to choose our menu. Hehehe... yeah that long...So at last I settled with my Ocean hut and Ti had her beef lasagne. And it took another 10 minutes for the menu to be served. Image.... Well I was not that hungry, cos earlier I ate 1 piece of Old Chung Kee's currypuff .

While dining, we talked about what we'd missed for the week, eversince we met last Saturday. Yes.. of course we missed each other. Image I realised she looked darker.. Had you played in the sun?  She was playing with her students in the field in a bright sunny day although she's not feeling well. The excitement made her forgotten that she was sick. I called it mind over body.

Actually I was worried to the core that she did not keep in touch with me yesterday's morning which she usually does during her recess in school. I received her sms on Tuesday midninght that she was not feeling good. So yesterday I told her I did  the craziest initiatve by calling Changi Hospital and find out whether she was admitted .

I said...."Changi Hospital? I couldn't  reached my fiancee mobile..and I wanted to ensure whether she was admitted?" Then I was asked for her details of her full name and I/C number .... then the operator replied "I am sorry. There's no admission yet"......Hahaha of course.

However Ti was quite shocked with my craziness...and told me not to be worry in future.  She gave the assurance of somebody will keep me in touch if anything befalls her.

We spent almost an hour in the restaurant, after which we had our Asar prayer at Darul Ghufran mosque. We saw two kites flying high above at the vast open field nearby.

"We could fly kite as what you always have the fancy to do, in that open field..you know", I said. "When its prayer time, we can just go to that mosque."

"Yes, a good idea.",she replied. "We can just tie the string of the kite to a tree while we are away".  Hahaha..ImageImage

Masjid Darul Ghufran, Tampines

Today, later, I will be on my way to Sim Lim Square to look for a rugged laptop bag. I saw a similar bag in Courts, Causeway point with many specialised compartments which cost around $99!!! So I hope I could find it for less in Sim Lim Square. Then I intend to snap few photos of boat quay and Esplanade, the same spot as the old photos which I retrieved from the National Arhchives Board for the purpose of making comparison of changes that happened. Kind of interesting. I will post my findings soon in this blog. So stay tuned, people.

National Library, 3.40pm

I had finally bought the bag at Courts, Causeway Point, Woodlands just now... and it cost me $97.20. But it is worth it. Its black and burgundy. Comes with detachable notebook pouch fits notebooks with up to 14.1" screens . Constructed of hard-wearing nylon and trendy twill material. Ergonomic meshed shoulder straps and padded handles for additional comfort. Zip-down workstation includes mobile accessory storage, pen loops, business cards holder and key clip. Two side mesh pockets for easy external access. Hidden security pocket for valuables and porthole for headphone cable & Detachable mobile phone pouch. Its a steal!!

Singapore National Library, Bras Basah Road......as seen from hot air baloon.

I am now at the National Libary. Kinda upset. I was at the Boat Quay 3 hours ago, getting ready to snap photos of Cavenagh Bridge when the next thing I realised my digicam battery was flat. DOH! Should check it before I left home just now. Its okay. I will do it tomorrow then after Friday Prayers at Moulana Mosque.

Earlier today, I recieved SMS from TI. Sounds kinda upset. Will blog later on the outcome.  I have to make my move to Tampines now, to meet Ti again for late lunch and talks.
