Lovely Monday Indeed - Updated by Slowjack

I just got back from work, starving. Thanks to my beloved Ti. She can talk and write all day long. That's what she is. Me, I am always lost of words... quiet.... but when it comes to action. I will spring!

For the past few days I had been spending most of the time with Ti...eversince she came back from her Bangkok holiday.

Wednesday - 6th of September

I met her at Borders, Wheelock Place, to return her Elmo (her plush cat..whom she had been sleeping with for many years). She 'loan' it to me before she flew to Bangkok....or rather.. I took care of it.

She brought me some stuffs from Bangkok - 3 Tshirts.. Tom Yum spices - A small plush Elephant (which u can see at our photo album)...etc etc... And thanks for the Mont Blanc leather wallet too, darling.

We prayed Asar at Al-Falah and had late lunch at Breeks, Marina Square. One thing we noticed about Breeks was that, whenever customers arrived... the staffs will greet aloud "WELCOME TO BREEKS!"......The menu was okay.... and its Halal certified.

Later we made our way to Esplanade..again...and we noticed somthing different. the walkways are sheltered with a giant white tent. It must be due to the IMF conference... everything is in tip-top condition. So ...even if it rains.. or under a hot sunshine....visitors to Esplanade still can enjoy..........strolling...jogging...or whatever...

We walked our way along Queen Elizabeth Walk.. and whenever we about to pass the Lim Bo Seng Memorial...Ti would whispered..."Go and Pay Respect"....I chuckled. and replied..."Its a best to ask him for 4D numbers..."...hahaha..

To us.. Boat Quay is our next favourite spot. I noticed...there were extra statues and sculptures...They must be placed there.. to impressed the IMF delegates. But most of all... Boat QUay is very convinient.... there's a 24 hours Mc Donald.. and quite a peaceful Burger King outlet. A nearby MRT station..- Raffles Place. ...and an underground air-conditioned mosque, Moulana Mohd Ali Mosque, where we performed Maghrib.

When night began to take over... the scenery at Boat Quay was stunning. Me and Ti ...sat at the nearby marble benches. Ti always marvelled the Fullerton Hotel. We had this plan that we would book a room in the first night of our wedding.

But the sole purpose of us being there that particular day.. is that we need to talk. She realised that she could feel what she had never felt before or.. had lost the feeling...of ..love and to be love....for the past seven years. The Bangkok holiday is actually the purpose for her to be apart from me, her family and her homeland.. to ponder...on herself. Whatever.. we had in our conversation is beyond the scope of this blog.....for now!

The night when we were already apart, she send me a message on my mobile; she cried when sleeping with Elmo because.. it had already got my kind of smell. Sleeping with Elmo now.. is like sleeping with me. She cried... with mixed feelings....of joy that God had send me to her life..... and apprehensive that .. this relationship might be another one that God might take away.. from her....like before.

I really doubt that. I had a great feeling that this is my destination...after so many journeys of dissapointments which I treat as a "training" or conditioning or grooming by God to ....meet her. To me .... Ti is really a godsend.
