Whatever you call it.. Eidul Fitr, Hari Raya, Lebaran..its all the same.
Poor Ti.. Cinderella or not... I just love the way you are. The time now is 2057 hrs, PSI is 82. Just had my second dose of meal. Mum prepared mutton curry savour with french loaavesand roti boyan (baked flour stuffed with meshed potatoes). Earlier, I performed my Maghrib prayers at AnNur, the mosque in Woodlands, after got back from work. Yes I am working today. I know it is Sunday. It was rather quiet day at work. The rest of my Indian colleagues were on leave for the Deepavali celebration. Got back home from the mosque at 1920 hrs. All my siblings were home. My sis, and my two younger brothers were racing each other in the XBox console. There were a replay of the Matrix movie on Channel 5, which my teenage brother adore watching after have his hands on playing its version of PC game. My home is rather "naked". The windows were without curtain...and we are totally exposed to the view of our neighbouring block. The curtains are sent for washing. There's not much major preparation for Hari Raya this year. Because.. we think..everything is already spick and span.. and all that we wanted,... we already had. We had to be careful as not to spend beyond our means. Actually, my family went for their major shopping yesterday at Geylang.. without me..because I had been there with Ti .. the day before.. and also because of the idea that it was gonna be very crowded since it was a Saturday and Deepavali, which was a Public Holiday. They brought back home, Hari Raya outifts.. This year, we gona paint the town red. Everyone in the family will be putting on red. My two younger brothers were excited that they immediately try the outfit and show it to mum and dad. So does my sis. I caught the moments and would like to share it here in my blog..... "What is this.....a rehearsal ??? "
Selamat Hari Raya everyone! 2006-10-22 13:39:14 GMT
